Charlotte NC (BS) In a move officials swear has nothing to do with the FIFA case, French government lawyers have filed suit against the NASCAR corporation and the estate of founder Bill France, for $165.2 million USD in ‘improper financial obligations’, due to some forms “being filled out wrong” between 1978 and 1992.
One accountant who spoke off the record alleges NASCAR staff knew of the error, but thought the country “was just being nice, like that time they gave that statue to New York.”
